Abstract (EN)
Today, museums have become complementary to lifelong learning and educa-tion at school. The museums used at each educational level; It should be used during the pre-school period, where research, discovery and curiosity are high. The aim of this study is determining the opinions of experts, teachers and pa-rents about museum education in pre school period. For this purpose, the phenomenolo-gy of qualitative research methods is used. Six experts with museum education, visual arts education, and pre-school education, six pre-school teachers, and six parents with museum experience participated in the research and interviewed between February 2 and April 6, 2018, firstly by field experts and then by teachers and parents. In the re-search, the participants was asked focusing on the perception and experience of museum education during data collection. The findings of the study were interpreted according to phenomenological analysis. As a result of the study, it was seen that field experts, teachers and parents approached museum education with different perspectives. Field experts see museums as an educational environment. It was realized that pre-school teachers mostly used mu-seums for sightseeing, but parents did not see museums as a place to go with their chil-dren and learn together. In the present research, it was found out that the aim should be parallel to the pre-school education program,in terms of child's age, his development and the collection of the museum. The children should be active in the learning process and alternative measurement and evaluation techniques can be used in the assessment process.
