Abstract (EN)

This research was done to analyse the pre-school children's freedom perceptions in 2011-2012 academic year. In addition to the approach of qualitative research, PARI scale was used for the parents as well.The research took place in İstanbul, in 10 districts with 103 students that had different income.With the result of 91 parents' answers,the families income and behaviors were set. By this way, it was aimed to set if there was a connection among the children who had different families from their parents's behaviours and income.As a result, it was understood that, the children likes playing, spending their times with friends more and it was also noticed that the parent's attidute toward the children was a big effect upon them. In addition to this, the students who had lower income had no idea about being free and freedom, but on the other hand, the children whose families had higher income, had some interpretations and predictions about freedom.
