Abstract (EN)
The need to investigate the children's books used in pre-schools and kindergartens of The Ministry of National Education emerged and established the purpose of the study. Hence, it has been tried to contribute on the relevance and adequacy of children's books for children in pre-school education. "The Scale for Properties of Illustrated Children's Books Used In The Preschool Education Institutions" has been prepared in accordance with the experts' opinions and it has been used after validity and reliability study was established. Cronbach's alpha coefficient of test was found to be 0,82. Scale includes '54' items and also 6 variables depending on the teacher datas. The scope of the study includes all of the teachers (477) who works in preschools and kindergartens in Elazığ city centre. The subjects were randomly chosen 126 teachers among the group. In analyzing the data, descriptive statistics, t-test and one-way analysis of variance were used. According to years of seniority, working hours, age group of training and type of school they graduated the study has increased significant differences in some substances of the scale. Finally, suggestions were made on the basis of research findings.
