Determination of administrators' views on out-of-school learning mediums in pre-school education

Out-of-school learning mediums have been often mentioned in pre school education in recent years.The aim of this study is to reveal the approaches of institution administrators towards out-of -school learning mediums in preschool education.In this research, a group of study involving of five pre-school, five primary and five secondary school administrators operating in Kastamonu city center was formed. An interview form has being developed in the light of relevant literature review and the questions to be answered. So as to find valid and reliable answers to this questions the data of research has been collected through face to face interviews with the study group. The data analyzed by the descriptive analysis method revealed that independent pre-school administrators and primary and secondary school administratos who have a kindergarten class have a positive attitude towards out of school learning environments. But it has been concluded that independent kindergarten administrators have more knowledge of the subjects that can be associated with out of school learning environments than primary and secondary school administrators with a kindergarten class.
