In the field of preschool science education graduate thesis studies systematic literature review

The aim of this study is to examine the theses written in the field of preschool science education according to a systematic literature study. For this purpose, the general characteristics of the studies included in the research, subject distribution, research method, data collection method, data collection analysis were examined. The systematic literature review method was used in the study. A total of 65 theses, 8 doctorate and 57 master's theses obtained from the YÖK Thesis database scanned with this method, were included in the research. "Thesis review form" was used in the analysis of the data, the data obtained by categorizing with content analysis, the qualitative data were digitized with statistical techniques (frequency, percentage) and transferred to tables. As a result of the examination, it was determined that the most studies were carried out in 2018 in Turkish language as a language, in the type of master's degree, in women as a gender, in Gazi University as university, in the Institute of Educational Sciences as a ınstitute, Department of Primary Education in term of department. It was observed that most studies have been done in the title of perception and attitude towards Science in terms of subject distribution. Regarding the study groups, most of the work was done with pre-school teachers, In the class level of the study group consisting of candidates teachers, it was studied with the 2nd and 4th grade teacher candidates, In the age distribution of the study group consisting of students, it was studied with the age range of 5-6, according to the school type in which the groups are located, most public school was seen, when we look at the statistics in the cities, it was seen İstanbul ıt was seen that range of <100 is preferred when we look at the number of samples. It was determined that the majority of the studies were not reported regarding the method of the studies, and the scanning model was used in the models used in the theses. In the data collection tools of the studies It was determined that the tests were mostly such as interest, attitude, personality, talent etc. preferred and the number of items in the data collection tools was mostly preferred in the range of 11-20 items. It has been determined that considering the data analysis methods in the studies, the most quantitative data analysis method, has been used from on the other hand quantitative descriptive analysis methods; frequency, percentage, chart techniques have been used.
