The effects of Orff Schulwerk on musical skills in preschool music education

The purpose of the present research is to investigate effects of Orff Schulwerk on musical hearing skills, singing properly, interest and involvement Subjects included 6 aged of preschool children. There are groups which were included in the research were randomly assigned to one of the two conditions (a) Orff Schulwerk, (b) traditional method. Post measures were collected scale, field notes, interview techniques. Major results of me research are; 1. Subjects in Orff Schulwerk condition outperformed subjects in traditional method on musical learning skills. 2. Orff Schulwerk is more effective than traditional method on singing properly. 3. Orff Schulwerk is promoted interest and involvement.
