Özet (EN)
In this study, it was aimed to examine the activity plans integrated with Web 2.0 tools prepared by pre-service preschool education teachers for teaching the subject of environmental pollution to 36-72-month-old children within the framework of technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK). The study group consisted of pre-service teachers (N: 30) attending the Department of Preschool Education at Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University in the spring term of the 2022-2023 academic year. The research design was planned as an embedded single case study. Data collection tools included activity plans, digital teaching materials prepared with Web 2.0 tools, and a structured interview form. The activity plans of all participants and the digital teaching materials prepared with Web 2.0 tools were analyzed thematically within the framework of TPACK components. In the research, in the context of technology, it was concluded that the participants used a wide variety of programs/software in preparing digital teaching materials with Web 2.0 tools, and they mostly preferred free, easy-to-use, and practical tools in the process. In the context of pedagogy, it was concluded that Web 2.0 tools were used in every part of the activity plans and technology affected pedagogy. It was observed that there were deficiencies in the vocabulary and evaluation sections of the activity plans. While it was observed that air, water, soil, noise, and light pollution issues were emphasized in the activity plans within the content context, it was noteworthy that radioactive pollution and electromagnetic pollution issues were not addressed by any by any pre-service teacher. The prospective teachers stated that they found Web 2.0 tools practical and fun, and those who used Web 2.0 tools for the first time stated that they enjoyed the process although they had difficulties at first. Based on these results, it is thought that Web 2.0 tools will be an effective method for teaching the subject of environmental pollution and will contribute to teachers and prospective teachers in teaching various subjects and concepts.
