Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this research is to determine how responsible education practices are carried out in the preschool period and to examine the classroom management skills used by teachers working in preschool education institutions in these practices. The research was carried out in kindergartens and nursery classes in the Central district of Yozgat province. In the research where case study, one of the qualitative research designs, was used, interview technique was used for this purpose. Interviews were held with 20 teachers selected by easily accessible sampling method. A semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher was used as a data collection tool. The opinions of the teachers were taken with the semi-structured interview form and the analysis of the data was carried out with descriptive data analysis. With the results obtained from the study, it was determined that preschool teachers believe in the importance of elements such as time management, appropriate activity and material plans, family participation, and physical arrangements in the classroom in responsibility education. Although teachers' practices in the classroom vary, the activity examples they apply are generally the same. Teachers stated that responsibility education creates changes in children's behavior in later life.
