The evaluation of the interest corners? organization and their use in preschool education according to the views of teachers

The study aims to evaluate the organization and the use of interest corners in preschool education with regard to the teachers? views. The setting consists of the preschool teachers working as a regular stuff and contracted stuff in Çanakkale in the spring term of 2009 and 2010 academic year. The target population is comprised of 136 preschool teachers responding the inventory. The obtained data was analysed by means of SPSS 15.0 program. The findings were tabularised and interpreted. In addition, the teachers? views about the topic were analysed with descriptive analysis method. Suggestions are provided to the respective institutions, teachers and researchers regarding the findings obtained in the study.Key Words: Preschool Education, interest corners, teachers? views, evaluation
