Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to determine the relation between the relationship the preschool teachers have with disabled students and the social skills of these students. The study was carried out using correlational survey model and research group of the study is made up of 142 students from 28 cities, in range between 36-84 months old, 41 of whom are girls and 101 of whom are boys and 142 teachers, 8 of whom are male and 134 of whom are female. The data was collected online by using Personal Information Form, Student-Teacher Relationship Scale-Short Form, Preschool Social Skills Assessment Scale-Teacher Form. At the end of the study, it was determined that students had medium-closeness in their relationship with teachers. It was seen that teacher's occupational experience created a significant difference in subdomain of closeness in this relationship. It was determined that students' social skills were low. It was seen that the age of the student and his/her father's educational level made significant difference in students' social skills. It was determined that there were meaningful relations between the relationships the teachers had with the disabled kids in their classes and the social skills of these students and that the social skills of the students were a meaningful predictor of student-teacher relationship.
