Opinions of school administrators, students, teachers and parents on the guidance service and it's work in the school

This study was carried out in schools with guidance service, to determine the views of students, teachers, administrators and parents for the work of the guidance service in the school and based on these views, to understand and interpret how the guidance service is perceived by students, teachers, administrators and parents. In determining the sample of the study, criteria sampling technique, one of the purposeful sampling method used in qualitative research, was used. The population of the research consists of teachers in different levels and branches working in Antalya in the 2022-2023 academic year, school administrators, students and parents. 7 teachers, 4 deputy principals, 6 students and 3 parents who met the criteria and volunteered to participate in the study were selected as the sample. In the study, the data was collected with individual interview technique. After recording Interviews made with semi-structured interview forms for 20-25 minutes, they are subjected to theme, descriptive and content analysis, and the opinions were categorized within upper and lower themes. The research results contain findings that reflect the views of teachers, students, parents and school administrators within the mentioned themes, and these findings provide clues about the functioning of the guidance service at different levels in schools and how to improve this functioning.
