Abstract (EN)
This research aimed to determine whether the teacher performance management factors could be applied by Anatolian High School teachers and managers working in the Antalya city for the purpose of performance criterions in Anatolian High School and to find out the degree of applicability in these schools. The research consisted of 926 teachers and 70 managers working in the 28 Anatolian High School in Antalya city. The researcher with the permission of the Antalya directorate of national education the scale instruments were delivered to the all of the schools. Then all the requested filled instruments were collected by the researcher. 47 managers and 493 teachers total 540 instrument feedbacks. So the population ratio of our sample was %67 for managers, %53 for teachers and %54 for totally.The groups that covered the sampling ratio were applied two research instruments ?Personal Information Form? and ?Teacher Performance Management Scale? prepared by the Bostancı ( 2004). The obtained data were processed by the SPSS computer program. The arithmetic mean and the Standard deviations were calculated for the answers to these surveys whose aim was to determine whether the teacher performance management factors were applicable in the Anatolian High schools for performance criterions and then finding out the degree of applicability. One-way variance analysis were applied in order to determine whether or not the level of acceptance of the applicability of teacher performance management factors by the teachers and managers varied with respect to the duty and the seniority within each duty group. One-way variance analysis were applied to be able to show whether or not the opinions of the teachers, and managers for the practical application of the teacher performance management factors for performance criterions varied with respect to the type of duty for each type of schools; furthermore, t-test was applied to reveal whether or not each duty group varied within itself with respect to seniority for each type of schools.
