Relationship with domestic violence, violence in school

The purpose of this study is also starting to show the impact of the schools in recent years with violence in relation to domestic violence; gender, class, mother and father education, family income, family type as well as taking into account the sociodemographic characteristics. In this study, Scanning Model is used. This particular model is a situation in the past or is intended to depict the way still exist. Sampling is gathered from The Ali Kuşçu Elementary School at 6., 7. and 8. classrooms consists of 307 students located in İstanbul, Çekmeköy district. The survey was used to collect data. For this purpose " Bully-Victimization Scale" and Domestic Violence survey, is used. The Personal Information form is prepared by the researcher for determining the variety of sociodemographic characteristics of students who participated in the study form?. In analyzing data, Mann Whitney-U test, Kruskall Wallis H ? test, Spearman correlation and regression analysis. The findings obtained in this study, show that elementary school students are exposed the physical and verbal violence from father induced, verbal and psychological violence from mother-induced, economic violence from mother and father-induced, verbal and psychological violence from father-induced and the restrictive individual rights, emotional violence from mother and father-induced . The violence factors show difference according to the gender variable. Male students are exposed to domestic violence more than the girl students. 7. students studying in the classroom, physical and vverbal violence, mother-father-induced verbal and psychological violence, and individual rights, restrictive psychological violence from mother and father, according to students in the 6.classroom has been more exposed. 8. students studying in the classroom, the father from the verbal and psychological violence, and individual rights, restrictive psychological violence from mother and father, according to students studying in the 6. classroom has been more exposed. 8. students studying in the classroom, parents from the verbal and psychological violence 7 classroom. In the examination of the level bullying-victim of the students participated the survey, average level of bullying of 4.919; the average level of fighting of 8.264; the victim was found in the average level of 7.091. The situation of bullying and being victim of the students according to the gender and class variables were found to be statistically significant. 8. male students, according to scholl other students progress to violent riots proves to be more bullying and victimization. The study examined the relationship between bully-being victim level and domestic violence of the elementary school students, is showed that all the violence factors are getting increased, bully and being victim level of students increases weak considerably though. The increase 1 unit in physical and verbal violence from the father induced, increases, bully 0.83 unit, fighting 3.677 unit and being victim 1.36 unit. The increase 1 unit in psychological violence of restriction of individual rights from mother-father induced increases being victim 0.464 unit.
