Abstract (EN)
Our peers, who express people in our own age group, have an important place in our educational life. Although education starts in the family, from the moment we reach school age, we start to spend more ti5me with our peers than with our family. From this point of view, we can say that the student will carry the traces of good or bad behaviors and words from his peers for life. It is important to look at the studies in this field holistically in order to understand "peer bullying", which has become the plague of our age, and to take the necessary precautions in this regard. With this study, it is aimed to examine the studies on the concept of peer bullying and to evaluate the factors affecting the peer bullying tendencies of students in schools, especially in high schools. Studies conducted with the concept of peer bullying were examined by document analysis method. When evaluating peer bullying, it is important to examine not only the visible but also the invisible subjects for a holistic evaluation. Especially in recent years, it has been observed that the elements of violence normalized in the media trigger peer bullying. It is seen that those who are bullied become bullies over time and bullying is legitimized in order to be popular.
