Abstract (EN)

Crime scene investigation is highly important in determining the crime and the criminal in a forensic event. Archaeological techniques are also used to clarify the crime in crime scene investigations. The investigation of the crime scene with forensic archaeological practices and the collection of evidence that can be considered as evidence with forensic archeology techniques play an important role in enlightening the crime. The ethnoarchaeological knowledge of archaeologists about burial contributes to the correct removal and collection of skeletons found at the scene. In this study, the parallels between crime scene investigations and archaeological excavation methods, which are viewed from the perspective of archaeologists, are explained. The investigation of the crime scene in the crimes of cultural and natural property smuggling has been handled, and the graphs showing the data of the cultural and natural property smuggling crimes in 2019 and 2020 were created. With these graphics, it is aimed to give an idea about the number of our cultural assets destroyed in our country. Also, crime scene sketches and expert reports which are composed during the interventions to such incidents are included.
