Abstract (EN)

In this paper, Turkish sportsmen?s profile who made degree at Olympics and theirsport career planning while they are doing their sport career and after termination process was researched. Beside this, sportsmen?s career planning dimension is questioned interms of demographic and sport variables.This survey which tries to determine the efficiency of the carreer planning of Turkish sportsmen who made degree at Olympics according to professional sportsmen?s ideas is at ? scanning model? and it is descriptive featured.Survey form is prepared accordingly the aim of the paper. This form was applied to 37 sportsmen who are citizen of Turkey and made degrees at Olympics.Data which are acquired via these surveys are analyzed with a statistics computer program called SPSS 17.0. To determine the reliability Alpha coefficient , to determine sportsmen?s demographic and sport profile frequency and percentage statistics, to determine the dimension of their career planning while and after sports career average and standard deviation statistics were used. To determine the variability of sportsmen?s sport career planning dimension according to demographic ditribution man-whitney-u and kruskall wallis were applied. . To determine the career planning dimension relationship between their while sport career and post sport career (after termination) correlation analysis was used.In the survey, it is understood that Turkish sportsmen who made degree in Olympics can not make an effective carreer planning, they tend to other fields or they have to do this.Key Words: Career, Career Planning, Sport Career, Sport Organization, Olympics, Olympic Sportsmen.
