Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of the research is to illuminate the murder incidents that took place in the area of responsibility of the gendarmerie. In line with the main purpose of the research, the murder incidents that occurred in the Gendarmerie Responsibility Area in 2018-2019 and 2020 constitute the sample of the research. The educational status of the perpetrators in the incidents that took place in the area of responsibility of the gendarmerie were illiterate 26 (2.1%), literate 121 (9.6%), primary school students 2 (0.2%), primary school graduates 606 (48.0%), middle school students 3 (0.2%), secondary school graduates 160 (12.7%), high school students 27 (2.1%), high school graduates 157 (12.4%), associate degree students 2 (0.2%), 12 (1.0%) associate degree graduates, 9 (0.7%) undergraduate degrees, 3 (0.2%) postgraduate degrees, and 309 (25.4%) unspecified. Occupational status self-employed 280 (22.1%), civil servant 34 (2.7%), housewife 64 (5.1%), worker 202 (16.0%), farmer 357 (28.2%), student 44 (3.5%), not working 9 (0.7%), unspecified 447 (21.7%). Marital status 892 (62.5%) never married, 366 (25.6%) married, 39 (22.7%) divorced, 134 (9.2%) unknown, that is, undetected detected. Considering the information on the cause of the murder, 325 (22.6%) were disputes, 199 (13.9%) hostilities, 134 (9.3%) land disputes, 137 (10.48%) miscellaneous. Found to be in dispute. When the crime tools used by the perpetrators in the murder cases are analyzed, 376 (26.2%) of the firearms were shotguns, 318 (22.1%) of them were sharp and piercing tools, 50 (3.5%) of them were motor vehicles and 689 (49.2%) of them were found to have other instruments. When the drug use status of the perpetrators in murder cases is examined, it is seen that 531 (37.0%) do not use drugs, 135 (9.4%) use drugs, 771 (53.7%) cannot be determined, and their alcohol use is 679. It was determined that 92 (47.3%) of them did not use alcohol, 92 (4.4%) of them used alcohol, and 666 (48.3%) of them could not be detected.
