The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between positive and negative feedback and psychophysiological recovery in university students who engage in recreational basketball, within the context of a basketball shooting skill test. The sample of the study consisted of 30 male university students (N = 30) aged 18 and over, who participate in recreational basketball. Heart rate variability (HRV) was measured using the BioTrace+ Nexus-10 device and its associated software and accessories. During the HRV measurements, the control group was assessed without receiving any feedback, while the positive and negative feedback groups were assessed under their respective feedback conditions. The findings of the study indicated that both positive and negative feedback had significant effects on psychophysiological recovery (p<0.05). Based on the results, the findings were discussed and recommendations for future research were provided.
