Abstract (EN)
Ombudsman is a concept that refers to a person or an institution where individuals can claim their rights, making application for complaints against the administration. Having spreaded all around the world over time, Ombudsman can be composed of various structures and names on the purpose of maintaining its own special core elements in different countries. In our Country, Ombudsman activities is being executed by The Institution of Ombudsman founded in 2012. In this study, first of all, information about the historical development process, features, duties and types of Ombudsman will be given. Later on, the structure, functioning and decisions of the Ombudsman Institution, whose activities continue to increase, will be examined and lastly, data on the decisions of the institution will be shared.
