Omar Sevki Mardinî and his Divan

Our thesis consists of the study of Omar Sevki Mardini? s Divan, which was written in three languages in terms of form and content and the transcription of its Turkish part into the present day. Our thesis is composed of two main parts and at the and of the thesis there is the transcription of the divan.The first chapter is devoted to the poet?s life and his poem world. The second chapter is the study of the divan in terms of form and content.We prepared our thesis on the two copies of divan which we are able to find. We found the first copy from Millet Library in Istanbul (number 235) and the second copy from the National Library in Ankara. ( 06 Mil Yz 7928)There are a total of 262 poems in the AE copy: 16 kasidas, 245 gazals and a ?tahmis?- a poem to the gazal of Nâbî.
