Word groups in Ömer Seyfettin's stories

Ömer Seyfettin who is known the greatest represantative of the episode short story writing in our literature, produced more than 150 stories and produced poetry, novel, theatrical play, article in his 36 yearly life, is a very productive writer. The Works which was written by Ömer Seyfettin, especially his stories, let taste literary enjoyment abundantly to his readers; furthermore the works are worth studying as a language material. The language and the style are thought as a bilateral and they are necessary, they don?t become seperated from each other and so the style of language that?s to say, the sentences, the word groups and the words etc. are considerably effective in the style and in the prettiness of expressing. We also, in our study, we studied the word groups in Ömer Seyfettin?s four stories book which is given their names in the introduction part, firstly, after we mentioned in our researchers² thoughts about each one word group, we evaluated them in accordance with their structure and their usage in the other word groups. We used sample sentences from the stories for the word groups which we talked about. In the final part of our study, we gave statistics information for the word groups which are the basis to our study.
