Abstract (EN)

While the increasing population and the increasing production amounts of mankind increase the need for raw materials, the resulting wastes create environmental risks. Within the scope of this thesis, it is aimed to determine how the energy resources in the world and in our country can be used more efficiently and how renewable or recyclable energy resources can be widespread instead of energy resources that cause environmental problems. The increasing human population, the increasing number of automobiles due to the increasing vehicle production and the increasing need for tires accordingly. The amount of waste tires that have reached the end of their life span, the damage they cause to the environment and the shortage of raw materials have led to a search for recycling. The structure of tires and the raw materials they contain have been investigated. There is a serious need for attention and cost in the transportation and storage phase of tires that have reached the end of their life span without harming the environment. It has been examined how ELTs can be recycled into the economy. It has been investigated what products will be obtained when tires that have reached the end of their life span are recycled. It has been seen where the products obtained as a result of recycling can be used as raw materials and how they will contribute to our country and the world. The methods by which end-of-life tires can be recycled and the stages of recycling methods have been examined. The advantages and disadvantages of recycling methods such as nitrogen disintegration, ozone disintegration, mechanical disintegration, and pyrolysis have been investigated. The method that the recycling facility will choose, the costs and the permits that need to be obtained have been investigated.
