Hydrothermal synthesis of ON and ONO type pincer complexes and investigation of their UV properties

Abstract (EN)
In this study, ONO type (2,6-pyridinedicarboxylic acid) and ON type (2,3-pyridinedicarboxylic acid) pincer ligands with Fe (III), Co (III) ve Ni (II) compounds were synthesized by using hydrothermal synthesis. The characterizations of all the synthesized compounds were determined by using FT-IR, AAS, UV-vis, TG/DTA, magnetic susceptibility, and elemental analysis techniques. Their UV interactions have been investigated. When exposed to UV light of the synthesized metal complexes were found to be have UV-absorbers feature.
