Interference and recovery effectiveness of front organizations in teaching 7th grade ratio proposal considerations

In this study, instructıonal strategy with pre-organisers in Ausubel's meaningful learning theory in teaching of 7th grade odds-ratio topicseffect on academic success and attitudes of students towards odds-ratio topics has been researched. This study was conducted with 60 students in 2017-2018 academics year in Antalya Kepez district, Ayşe Ahmet Atmaca Middle School 7/C and 7/D classes. 7/C class has been ıdentified as control group and 7/D class experimental group, which are the same in terms of success in the research. There are 30 students in both groups.experimental group were taught instructional strategy with pre-organizers in Ausubel's meaningfull learning theory while control group were taught tradeitional teaching methods.quantiative research method was used in the research. Static group pre test, post test research model was used. The attitude scale fort he odds-ratio topic developed by the researcher, the multiple choice ratio success test and the open ended ratiosuccess test were used as data collection tools. Success test and attitude scale were applied both before and after the application. Obtained data were analyzed and transferred to the statistical program. Analysis of the data in the research was conducted with independent t-test and paired t-test at 0,05 significance level. As a result of the applications and analyzes, instructional strategy with pre-organizersin Ausubel's meaningfull learning theory in theaching of 7th grade odds-ratio topics effect on accademic success did not make a meaningfull difference and there was a slight decrease in experimental group in the attitude toward odds-ratio topics but there was no meaningfull diffirence, there was no significant diffirence in the control group.
