Abstract (EN)
In the new period that started after the Cold War, The goals of the US and EU were to maintain the hegemony they had achieved while Russia's goal was to re-take part in the international system as a super power. The execration and struggle of the people in Ukraine before and after independence firstly emerged in November 2004, so called Orange Revolution took place in the country. The Pro-Western Ukranain politicians, who came to power with the Orange Revolution could not take this oppurtunity, and the Pro-Russian political views and block in the country were strengthened again. In November 2013, when the EU-Ukraine partnership agreement was not signed as favor for Russia, the Maidan process which took its name from independency square was started. During the Maidan events -Both economically and politically- The US and EU openly support Ukraine's desire to be part of western for having better democracy and less corruption in the country. Russia on the one hand claimed that Ukraine was wanted to be colonized by the Western World, while the pro- Russian government in Kiev was dismissed from the duty by a coup despite the election. Also Russia claimed that the political situation in Ukraine cannot be accepted in any way for themselves and that western block incited upheavals in Ukraine and provoked chaos and that a solution that Russia did not accept would not be possible in the field. Ukraine, with the influence of the historical hatred, argues that it is generally a better choice to take sides with Western Block for the future of their country and that Russia wants to create and interaction network similar to the USSR and that Ukraine will become a Russian colony at the end. Losing of Crimea, Defacto situation in Donbass, economic crisis and turning direction in to west without any other alternatives shows that, Ukraine will not turn normal in very soon.
