Abstract (EN)

Technology that can handle even the most complicated issues in electrical power systems has been developed thanks to extensive scientific study. Many algorithms and technologies have been developed by scientists to enhance power system variables and thereby decrease fuel costs. In this study, we show how to use the JAYA algorithm, a novel optimization strategy, to solve OPF issues. In the experiment, three objective functions of OPF solutions are considered: minimizing fuel costs, minimizing active power losses, and improving voltage stability. After deciding on a set of parameters for the optimization algorithm, the classic power flow program is executed to determine that function. Since we've reached the maximum number of iterations, the algorithm will begin the iterative process, displaying a comparison between the starting values of the description variables and the values generated by the optimization algorithm. Optimal values for active power losses also emerge over time. Keywords: power system, JAYA algorithm, optimal power flow, minimize fuel cost, and active power flow minimize.
