Abstract (EN)

In this thesis study, the desired output voltages were obtained by controlling the DC-DC buck converter with the TMS320F28379D microcontroller. The design was modeled in the Matlab/Simulink environment and controlled with the BuckConv card produced by Texas Instruments (TI) and the TI C2000 based TMS320F28379D microcontroller also produced by TI. With Matlab/Simulink, rapid modeling and simulation of the control system, automatic embedded code generation and finally operation of the system have been achieved. In order to ensure digital control of the design, modules from the library related to the blocks on the Matlab/Simulink application were added so that the necessary codes could be automatically generated by Matlab. First of all, support packages were installed to run C2000-based blockset hardware from the Matlab/Simulink application. Then, F2837x microcontroller was selected and programs such as Cod Composer Studio and Control Suite, which are the interfaces of this microcontroller, were installed. The design was made in a real environment by examining the manuals of the BuckConv conversion card and the TMS320F28379D microcontroller. At the end of the study, the necessary designs for the control of the step-down converter were carried out and the desired output voltage was obtained.
