Restoration proposal of Harun Furtun Residence in Ordu, Aziziye District

The thesis issued on the Furtun House, one of the examples of the traditional house in Ordu. The aim of the study is; to prepare the measured drawings and document the present situation, to determine the original situation via restitution project and find out the alterations, with the assistance of the restitution project, to maintain a restoration project with house function. In the scope of the thesis, Ordu urban site and the nearby environment of the `Furtun House?, as well as today?s condition of it, is examined and the original condition is investigated by the comparative study and historical analysis. Thus, the house can be restored via restoration project, function as a house, be inhabited again by its owners and this cultural heritage can be transferred in a good condition to the future generations.
