Abstract (EN)

This project aims to define the nutrition status of the students who stay in the dormitory in Yoğunoluk Boarding Primary School and the students who commute from home the school and compare the nutrient status of the both group. The data of the research which is conducted on 160 students totally -80 students who stay in the dormitory and 80 students who commute to the school in Yoğunoluk Boarding Primary School is collected questionnaire method. In the process of the assessment, the SPSS 13.0 in Windows is used and t-test is applied additionally, scores and percentages are calculated.The students are between 11 and 16 years old. Three main meals are consumed among the students (77.5 %). While 84.5 % the students who omitting meal omit the lunch, 6.9 % of them omit the breakfast. The reason of the omitting the meal among the nearly half of the students who omit the meal is in appetence. 92.5 % of the students staying in the dormitory and 96.2 % of the students commuting to the school consume snack between meals. 78.8 % of the pupils staying in dormitory and 68.8 % of the pupils commuting to the school from home consume biscuits, cookies, cock and soft drink between meals.While the students who commute consume mainly bread (98.0 %), egg (58.7 %), ayran (47.5 %) and tomato (91.2 %) respectively, the students who stay in the dormitory eat bread (93.8 %), sugar (73.8 %) and egg (27.5%).When the food which isn?t consumed by the students at all is analyzed, kasar and offal are the most consumed food for the both groups.Daily energy, protein, fat, vitamin E, vitamin B12, pantetonat, niacin, magnesium, phosphorus, iron and zing intake is high among the students who stay in dormitory compared to the students who commute from home to school and it is found that this difference is statistically meaningful.The students who are content with the nutrient donation among the both groups take more amounts of nutrient factors daily compared to the students who are not content with the nutrient donation.Key Words:Adolescence, Adolescence Nutrition, Nutrition Status,
