Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted to determine the fauna of the fruit flies (Diptera: Tephritidae) in Ordu province. In the study, adult fruit fly samples were collected freom the differents areas of Ordu provinces between 2016 and 2017 years. Obtained samples were identified in Entomology Laboratory of the Department of Biology of Gaziantep University and determined fruit fly fauna. As a result of the study 12 genera (Urophora, Acanthiophilus, Campiglossa, Dioxyna, Ensina, Spathulina, Sphenella, Tephritis, Xyphosia, Trupanea, Chaetorellia, Terellia) and 33 species (Urophora affinis (Fraunfeld), U. jaceana (Hering), U. mauritanica Macquart, U. solstitialis (Linneaus), U. stylata (Fabricus), Acanthiophilus helianthi (Rossi), Campiglossa producta (Loew), Dioxyna bidentis (Rob.-Des.), Ensina sonchi (Linnaeus), Spathulina sicula Rondani, Sphenella marginata (Fallen), Tephritis cometa (Loew), Tep. dioscurea (Loew), Tep. Divisa Rondani, Tep. fallax (Loew), Tep. formosa (Loew), Tep. hurtvitzi Freidberg, Tep. matricariae (Loew),Tep. nigricauda (Loew), Tep. postica (Loew), Tep. sauterina Merz, Tep. seperata Rondani, Tep. vespertina (Loew), Trupanea amoena (Frauenfeld), Tr. stellata (Fuessly), Xyphosia miliaria (Schrank), Chaetorellia carthami Stackelberg, Ch. loricata (Rondani), Terellia gynaecochroma (Hering), Ter. luteola (Wiedemann), Ter. ruficauda (Fabricius), Ter. serratulae (Linneaus), Ter. tussilaginis (Fabricius)) belonging to 3 subfamilies (Myopitinae, Tephritinae ve Terellinae) of fruit flies were identified. Regional identification keys were prepared for subfamilies, genera and species. Diagnostic morphological characters were described, adult, head-thorax, wing and aculeus photos, worldwide and Turkey distribution areas were reported for all sepecies.
