Abstract (EN)
In this study, the effects of music teaching given to children by the Orff method on children's self-efficacy levels were examined according to variables such as the gender, age, mother and father's playing of musical instruments and variables of the mother and father's profession. The demographic characteristics of the study were determined as frequency and percentage of 68 students, 29 of which were control group and 39 of them were Kolmogorov-Simirnov test. Since the data were larger than 30, homogeneous and normal distribution, parametric tests were applied. Since the data were larger than 30, homogeneous and normal distribution, parametric tests were applied. The Paired Samples test was applied for the dependent sample to compare the values of the self-efficacy scores of the pre-test and post-test, post-test and retention tests of the children in the experimental group. As a result of the study, a statistically significant difference was found between experimental and control groups. No statistically significant difference was found between sex self-efficacy levels of the mother, father, family, the profession of the father, the occupation of the mother and the profession and According to age variable, a statistically significant difference was found between music self efficacy scores. In the last test, there was no difference between gender, mother's father's family playing status, father's occupation, mother's occupation variables and musical self-efficacy levels and According to age variable, a statistically significant difference was found between music self efficacy scores. There were no differences between sex self-efficacy levels of mother, father and family, father's occupation, mother's occupation variables and sex self-efficacy and According to the age variable, a statistically significant difference was found between the music self efficacy scores.
