The study was conducted as pot assay in the experimental plot andgreenhouse Plant Protection Research Institute of Diyarbakır?s. In the experiment, efficacy of different levels of organic matter (%1, %4) and pumice (%0, %6, %12,%18) to the disease incidence was investigated in inoculated and uninoculated pot. Inthe fırst assay, inoculum was mixed to plot soil in pre-planting periot and in thesecond assay, in blossom periot. In the fırst assay, amount of inoculum was 25 g andin the second assay, 12,5 g.At the end of studies, it is determined that there was not statistically importanteffect of pumice and organic matter usage to disease incidence. It was seen thatamount of inoculum in soil and plant?s phenological periot that exposed to thisamount of inoculum density was more important than soil structure in point ofdisease incidence. Keywords: Pepper, Phytophthora capsici, Pumice, Organic Matter.
