The importance, organization and organization of organic textile design in the clothing sector today

Organic production emerging as a result of increasing environmental and human health across the ever-developing world, has come into prominence in textile sector soon after it gained acceleration in food sector to a great extent. Organic textile products mean the textile products that are based on organic agriculture concept, produced with organic raw materials not involving chemicals harmful to environment and humans or genetically modified inputs, and gone through control and certification processes in accordance with certain organic standards. This study discusses organic agriculture and organic production based on the concept of organic. From this point of view, organic textile product raw materials, production and processing stages, applicable standards, control and certification processes are discussed comprehensively. In the study, organic concept is analyzed from the point of both producers and consumers since buying behavior for organic products are discussed as well as organic production processes. When the justifications of basic demand and buying tendencies are taken into consideration, it is seen that organic cotton is predominantly preferred for kid and baby wear range. In parallel with the data reviewed in the last chapter of this study, organic kid and baby cloth collection is presented. Points to take into consideration in terms of baby wear are examined in detail and an analysis was made to determine trends and consumers at the design preparation stage. In addition to these data, stages to be followed in an organic collection preparation process are discussed thoroughly.
