Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to investigate the fire safety awareness levels of companies operating in organized industrial zones. In this context, a survey has been conducted with the participation of 957 personnel working in organized industrial zones in Marmara Region. The data have been analysed by SPSS (Version 22,0). In this study, descriptive statistics have been used. All variables except gender have a significant effect on all dimensions of structural, technical and administrative measures. As stated in all norm studies, it has been determined that knowledge and experience are effective factors on fire safety awareness level. All measures are vital for fire safety. However, the fact that no participant has marked all of the measures as highly important indicates that all aspects of fire safety perception should be addressed.
