Abstract (EN)

The concepts of ?organization culture,? and ?motivation? have increased in importance since human resources started to become a significant factor for success or failure of organizations in business life and since enterprises started to focus more on works of human resources department for the purpose of gaining competitive advantage.In this study, the impact of organization culture on motivation of employees is examined. In accordance with the purpose of this study, opinions of managers who work for the companies of Migros, Tansaş and Şok and who are participated in our study are taken. Depending upon this main purpose, it is analyzed the effect of six factors of organization culture, namely dominant characteristics, organizational leadership, employee management, organizational unity, basic strategy, and meaning of success on the motivator and hygiene factors regarding job satisfaction and three motivation scales, factors effecting the motivation negatively, and factors regarding the need of success (sub-dimensions of the need of success are gaining success, making contact, and gaining strength).It is determined that when motivator factors by income level of employees differentiated, hygiene factors do not. A significant difference is found in the result regarding comparison of motivator factors in terms of businesses for which the managers work. Besides, it is concluded that the model is meaningful regarding the impact of motivator-hygiene factors on the job satisfaction as well as regarding the hygiene factor; but it is not meaningful for the motivator factor.Key Words: organization culture, job satisfaction, motivation
