The effect of communication and information systems used in knowledge management to organizational culture

Persons, as of being social, always need to have some relations with others. Organizations are built upon the fact that the men should overcome his limitations and should answer his requirements as well. In addition to this, the organizations offer to their members making use of the information and experiences. Today, while new information and communication technologies develop and offer new possibilities, organizations are to have interactive communication with their environments. This pushes organizations think focusing on processes, being prepared for innovations and benefit from information technologies. As result of this, ?information? renews its organizational meaning. Managing it becomes a more complex issue. Thus, organizations need more information and more technology to utilize it. The aim of this study is to cross-examine whether the information and communication technologies in organizations affect the organizational culture or not. With this point of view, the study is shaped in order to put those two on correct bases and then relate to each other. A research based on a public survey held in four different organizations is the final part of it. To reach at scientific results, a total of 89 workers using IT at work are asked 52 questions and besides SPSS program is used.
