Abstract (EN)
The aim of my study is to ascertain the types of conflicts and the causes of those conflicts experienced by the employees of BOTAŞ (Petroleum Pipeline Corporation); to designate the applied solutions and as a result of the study it is also aimed to bring forward a proposal or more that are thought to be beneficial for the BOTAS employees.The first chapter of the study encompasses various definitions of conflict. Also managerial approaches, conflict process and types have been elaborated and causes and consequences of conflicts have been highlighted.The second chapter dwells upon analyzing conflict, mitigating conflict, conflict management styles, and other methods and techniques applied in conflict management.The third chapter introduces causes of conflicts emerging within BOTAŞ, an enterprise operating in the energy sector, portrays the respective conflict management, and in the end, puts forward new ideas and recommendations to the management vis-à-vis these conflicts.
