Abstract (EN)
?Frustration? is an interference with the occurrence of an instigated goal-response at its proper time in the behavior sequence. Unfulfilled of needs or its delaying is the first step of this process. Person whose needs unfulfilled or delayed feels disappointed and frustrated. For example, in an organization, the clearest frustrator for employee is blocking him while he is waiting for rising. Time limitations, all problems while doing job are sources of frustration. In job life, this emotion is very important for job satisfaction. When it is thought that psychological situation of employees brings customer satisfaction in service industry, this importance is considerable for accommodation companies.The purpose of this study is to find out form of frustration in organizations, its reasons, employees? feelings and their reactions to frustration and the relationship between frustration and job satisfaction by explaining frustration concept.Frustration is major factor affecting employees? work life, their motivation and satisfaction. Although there are many studies about frustration about psychological dimension, organizational studies are very limited. This research is important for its attribution to literatureIn the content of this study, firstly, frustration concept is explained and reasons of frustration, its types and handling with frustration is mentioned. Then, frustration sources in organization, its effects and employees? reactions to frustration are studied. In the research part, analyzes of the questionnaire which was used in Suzy Fox and Paul Spector?s study called ?A model of work frustration-aggression? is shown. The questionnaire is included: Situational constraints scale (13 items), frustration scale (3 items), job satisfaction (3 items) and job reactions survey (27 items). Questionnaire is applied in a chain hotel which has 4 hotels in Antalya region and 4 independent hotels and they are all 5 stars hotels. Questionnaires data is analyzed by SPSS and according to the results; there are proposals for hotels at the end of this study.Key Words: frustration, aggression, chain hotel companies, independent hotel companies, employees.
