Arising in the alienation of organizations and problems solution in terms of this question study importance of public relations (Baskent University, Ankara Hospital case)

Alienation, which can be seen in every organization, is described as staff?s diverging to their job, to themselves and to the organization,Reasons for alienation is tried to be displayed through Karl Marx and C. Wright Mills?s studies on alienation. It?s a fact which is observed and continued for two hundred years, for that reason we need to ask questions about what kind of studies can be done on this fact. In a study in this direction, public relations staff have administrative function on analyzing the alienation fact, evaluating, and application.To construct the application area for the study, Başkent University Ankara Hospital, which is a endowed institution under Başkent University organizations, is chosed. In the scope of the study,with interviews in the hospital, staff?s alienation level to their institution, to their job, and each other is explored. And Public relations studies in the institutions are tried to be determined and their efficiency is tried to be displayed.The datas we have after the research show that the the fact of alienation, which is possible to observe in hospital institutions, is present and its level is high. And Public Relations department?s applications for the staff are not satistifying.
