Abstract (EN)

Today, for organizations, It has been harder to survive in knowledge-intensive business world. İt has been more important to use knowledge which come from inside or outside of organization, to disseminate of knowledge usage throughout organizaton and to sustain all of these. İt can be possible with organisational performance models to obtain knowledge which will be used. Therefore the main purpose of this paper is definition of organisational performance and how Balanced Scorecard is used in organizational performance measurement.In the study not only the definition of the Balanced Scorecard is given by introducing the characteristics and dimensions, but also in other multi-dimensional organizational performance measurement models are discussed. The most important feature seen in all multi-dimensional organizational performance measurement models, in all of these models, traditional (financial) organizational performance measurement criteria is used as well as the new standards and new dimensions.Along with other production and management techniques, it has seen that Borusan Logistics implements Balanced Scorecard, multi-dimensional organisational performance model. This fact is shown with an example.
