The effect of leader-member exchange on organizational justice and emotional labor relationship

Abstract (EN)

In this research, the effect of service sector employees perceptions of organizational justice or injustice on emotional labor behaviors will be examined. Based on this, it is aimed to determine what kind of role the leader-member exchange plays in the shaping of the relationship between organizational justice and emotional labor. Fort his purpose, a face to face survey was applied to 400 service sector employees. According to the findings of the study, employees perceptions of fairness in their interactions whith their managers cause them to exhibit less superficial behavior towards their customers. Distributive justice perceptions of employees towards their organizations and managers cause them to exhibit more in-depth behavior. Employees whith high leader-member exchanges show less superficial behavior towards interactional justice. It is observed that employees whith high leader-member Exchange exhibit more in-depth behavior towards perceived distributive justice.
