Özet (EN)

The purpose of this dissertation is to divide organizational commitment into three dimensions as emotional commitment, normative commitment, continuity commitment the relations between each other and especially the relation between job satisfaction and different dimensions of organizational commitment. The planned research for realizing the purpose of the dissertation is applied on 98 personnel who work in X Company. Survey method and questionnaire technics are used to determine the organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Organizational commitment was measured using a 18 item instrument designed by Meyer and Allen. To assess the participants? job satisfaction, an 18 question scale developed by Brayfield and Rothe was used.In thıs reseacrh, Meyer and Allen?s three factor model was confirmed. According to this result, organizational commitment is divided into three dimensions as emotional, normative and continuity commitment. Besides, it is revealed that there are relations between these three dimensions and the job satisfaction of the participants. Especially, it is establish that normative and emotional commitment have positive effects on the job satisfaction of the participants.
