A case study about determining the relationship between organizational loyalty and demographic variables of the people who work in the banking sector and organizational citizenship manner

Abstract (EN)

In this research, people?s, who work in the banking sector, emotional loyalty, continuation loyalty, and normative loyalty which are devoted to their institutions were investigated. In addition, the relationships between these types of loyalty and some demographic variables, and the relationships between these types of loyalty and organizational citizenship manner were also investigated. Data were collected 122 participants who work in the banking sector. The results showed that the continuation loyalty among the participants is high. There is a significant relationship between continuation loyalty and education level. In addition, there is a significant relationship between normative loyalty and education level, and the duration of working on the job.In addition, the results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between organizational citizenship manner and emotional loyalty, and organizational citizenship manner and normative loyalty. In addition, it was found that there wasn?t a significant relationship between organizational citizenship manner and continuation loyalty.Key Words: Organizational Loyalty, Emotional Loyalty, Continuation Loyalty, Normative Loyalty, Organizational Citizenship Manner, Demographic Variables.
