Abstract (EN)
Main purpose of this study is to measure the ratioanal, affective and moral commitment degrees and to determine which component has a strong influence on Turkish Land Forces officers. The other purpose of the study is to investigate the relation between commitment and personal variables which is presupposed that has effects on commitment. It is stated that organizational commitment is preventing the negative job behaviours and increasing the organizational performance. By the side of organizational commitment, job satisfaction which reflects employee's attitudes is included in this study by considering that job satisfaction has also important effects on organizational behaviours. For this reason theoretical approaches about organizational commitment and job satisfaction are first summarized. Then in the direction of these approaches Organizational Commitment Questionnaire that consists of 17 expression and Job Satisfaction Questionnaire again consists of 17 expression is formed. It is found that inquiry must be administered to minimum 244 subjects. In order to prevent lacking or missing inquiries, 350 inquiries were sent to subjects who were chosen at random. At the end of administration 272 inquiries were answered. 265 of those were evaluated. Results of the study revealed that the degree of affective and moral commitment is higher than the degree of rational commitment among Turkish Land Forces officers. It is found that there is no relation between organizational commitment and none of the personal variables those age, marital status, resource, rank, total working years, the number of the child and occupation of mates.
