Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to investigate whether the differences by organizational levels of career developments of women managers and women?s view about general situation of business life. This study contains four sections as review of the literature and application. First of all, the literature review has been done in order to create organizational structure of this research and in the first part of the study, women in social life, women in Turkey, place of women?s work life in Turkey and the world, women manager; the second part of the study, the concept of career, career development, career management, career of planning; the third part of the study, the relationship between women and career, the factors affecting the career development of women managers were examined. In the application part of study, the questionnaire was applied in order to learn women?s views about career development of women managers at different organizational levels in banking sector in Eskişehir and general situation. Casual Comparative Model which is a model of quantitative research methodology was used in order to analyze the differences between data which was obtained according to results of the questionnaries and determined statistically. As a result, the significant differences according to organizational levels were confirmed as stipulated in views of women?s general situation in business life and career development.
