Abstract (EN)
This study aims to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool of organisational happiness levels within organisations. In the process of development of an organisational happiness scale, first of all the theoretical framework has been built and by the means of narrative synthesis, organisational happiness dimensions have been identified. In order to validate the dimensions of organisational happiness, the questionnaire containing draft sub-dimensions has been implemented. An item pool was created with the organizational happiness sub-dimensions that went through the verification process. In order to analyse the content validity of the items pool, the pilot questionnaire has been implemented with the sample group (N: 161) and data has been collected. A Likert type measurement tool including 45 items and 8 factors has been designed as a result of Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and assessment of validity. The designed measurement scale has been implemented with the main sample group (N: 451). The collected data has shown that the scale is composed of 7 factors. As one of the factors was composed of only two items, those items and the factor have been excluded from the scale. EFA results show that the reliability coefficient of scale factor varies between 0,841 and 0,95. CFA results are; x2/df: 2,215, CFI: 0,941, GFI: 0,858, and RMSEA: 0,052. Overall, the results have shown that the Organisational Happiness Scale composed of 43 items and 6 factors is valid and reliable.
