Abstract (EN)

Many researchers and practitioners have recognized that organizational learningis an important concept for contemporary organizations to attain competitiveadvantage and adaptation in a rapidly changing business environment. There is atremendous interest to understand the nature of organizational learning.Moreover, there is widespread acceptance that learning could occur at theindividual, team and organizational levels. The general idea regarding thatorganizational learning would have positive effects on performance, increasesthe debates about whether organizational learning occurs through individuals orteams are the unit of learning in organizations. Understanding organizationallearning dynamics would be important to develop strategies for empoweringorganizations? learning capabilities.The three linkages addressed in this study, are the relationships betweenorganizational learning levels, organizational learning - team performance andteam learning - team performance. To test hypothesis of this study, an empricalstudy has been carried out within product development teams of a companywhich operates in consumer electronics industry. It is found that there is notsignificant but positive and meaningful relationships between learnig levels inthe organization in question. Interestingly, team learning and team performancerelationship is not so significant as expected. Another finding of the study shows that team learning would not be transformed into organizational learning ifknowledge transfer weakly occurs.
