Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, impact of the personality characteristics on the emotional labour have been examined. This research has been conducted on 406 flight attendant who is working in establishment that is active at aviation industry in Istanbul. Organizational Silence Scale, scale of Basic Personality Trait at Turkish Sample, Emotional Labour Scale, Demographic Information form has been used in this research. We have benefited from Independent T-test and One-way analysis of variance. Beside this with purpose of testing the hypothesis we have benefited from correlation analysis and regression analysis. In the related variables positively and negatively meaningful relationships have been gained in consequence of this research. Furthermore, with gaining the positively and meaningful impact of organizational silence on the emotional labour, the emotional labour increases in the environment that organizational silence exists. With contexts of sub-hypothesis meaningful impacts have detected on the organizational silence and some of the sub-dimensions of personalities, emotional labour and some of the sub-dimensions. Beside these, statistically meaningful differences of related variables have detected with some demographic traits.
