The relationship between organizational citizenship behavior, job satisfaction, life satisfaction and psychological well-being: Example of fitness trainers

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between the level of organizational citizenship behavior, job satisfaction, life satisfaction and psychological well-being of the coaches working in fitness / sports centers. In this study, 6-Likert Type Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) Scale which was developed by Basım and Şeşen (2006) to determine the organizational citizenship behaviors of the participants; 7-Likert Type Psychological Well-Being (PWB) Scale which was developed by Diener et al. (2009; 2010) and validated by Telef (2013) in order to determine psychological well-being status; 5-Likert Type Life Satisfaction (LF) Scale, which was developed by Diener et al. (1985) and validated by Koker (1991) in Turkish for the purpose of determining the levels of life satisfaction and 5-Likert Type Job Satisfaction (JS) Scale developed by Brayfield and Rothe (1951) to measure job satisfaction was used. Data were analyzed using SPSS. According to the analyzes, there were significant differences in terms of sex, age, marital status, educational status and income level in the levels of OCB, JS, LS and PWB. When the relationship between OCB, JS, LS and PWB was examined, it was determined that there was a positive relationship between OCB with JS, LS, PWB; JS with LS, PWB; LS with PWB.
