Abstract (EN)
In the communication age, where the interaction is increasing rapidly, the place, importance and functionality of man as a social asset are questioned. Especially in working life, healthy communication has become an important indicator of efficiency. If the phenomenon of socialization, which is a social need, including sub-concepts such as establishing relationships, self-expression and bonding, does not occur at the expected level, there may be a perception of loneliness. In working life, due to the social isolation of individuals who have to be together in the same organization or institution, there may be a decrease in their work performance or their loyalty with the organization in question. In this context, the aim of the thesis study is to examine the relationship between the loneliness experienced by the employees and their organizational commitment and their effects on each other. Within the scope of the research, a survey was conducted with 426 participants between the ages of 18-65, 296 women and 130 men working in the public and private sectors between 01-12 December 2019. By analyzing the data obtained through the survey study, the relationship between organizational loneliness and organizational commitment was examined. Sampling method according to quotas was used in the data collection process as a research method. In the selection of the participants, easy sampling method was preferred. T-test, Anova test, reliability analysis, KMO Bartett's test, Pearson correlation analysis, multiple and simple linear regression analysis are the measurement tools used in the data evaluation process.
